“Mom’s Friend’s Son,” directed by Yoo Je Won and written by Shin Ha Eun, promises to bring a fresh approach to romantic comedy. The drama is set to commence filming in the first half of the upcoming year, with a scheduled premiere in 2024. If Jung Hae In decides to join the cast, it will mark his debut in the romantic-comedy genre, offering fans a chance to see the actor in a lighthearted and sweet setting. Despite his nearly decade-long career in the industry, this would be a new and exciting venture for Jung Hae In.

Jung Hae In has decided not to take on the lead role in the romantic comedy K-drama “Some and Shopping.” The news, initially reported on October 2, announced his casting in the series, which revolves around the dynamic between a CEO and a show host who, despite constant daytime bickering, develop a deep connection at night. Jung Hae In was slated to portray Lee Hae Seok, the CEO of a natural skincare brand, characterized by high intelligence, consistent academic excellence, determination, and a lively personality.

While initially contemplating the role, the actor has ultimately chosen to decline the lead part in the show, as confirmed by his agency. As a result, Jung Hae In will not be starring in “Some and Shopping.”

Jung Hae-In has secured the lead male role in the upcoming tvN romantic-comedy drama series “Mom’s Friend’s Son” (literal title). The series is scheduled to be broadcast in the second half of 2024 in South Korea.

In “Mom’s Friend’s Son,” Jung Hae-In will portray Choi Seung-Hyo, a highly acclaimed young architect in Korea who manages the architecture atelier “In.” Beyond his architectural prowess, he possesses both charm and a remarkable personality.
